Code of the Lug

Six rules.

  1. Keep to the paths. The existing paths protect the soil and the saplings.
  2. Dead wood stays. Dry and fallen trees are home to owls, woodpeckers and stag beetles.
  3. Don’t break, don’t peel. Branches, bark and saplings stay where they are.
  4. Leave nothing behind. No litter, no fire.
  5. Quiet in spring. From 15 March to 15 July the birds are nesting.
  6. Bring nothing in. No plants or animals from elsewhere.
